About Bishop Doyle P. Scott, Sr.,

 Appointed by the International Executive Committee at the 2016 General Assembly as Black Ministries Director, Doyle P. Scott, Sr. comes to the office having served as Pastor, Florida-Cocoa State Evangelism and Home Missions Director, FL Cocoa State Administrative Bishop, and Regional Administrative Bishop of Southern New England.

Innovative Trailblazer, Kingdom Builder, Restorer of “the breached”, Apostolic Spiritual Teacher and Transformative Servant Leader are just a few of the terms that describe Bishop Scott's ministry. Bishop Scott believes unequivocally in T.E.A.M. (Training, Equipping, Amplifying and Mentoring), as well as divine purposeful sowing of faith seeds and Christian discipleship amongst leaders at all levels and in communities worldwide.

He labors in ministry with his wife, Linda, and is the proud father of three children (LaNekka, Doylesa, and Doyle Jr.) and has one granddaughter (Rayneisha Rene). Bishop Scott earned a degree in Biblical Studies from Logos Theological College, a Licentiate from Overstone Theological College and an earned Bachelor’s degree in Divinity from Canada Theological College.

He also holds designations as a Certified Victims Advocate, Church Consultant and Community Service Chaplain. Bishop Scott has been bestowed an Honorary Doctorate degree by St. Thomas University. Bishop Scott has served the Church of God as Pastor, Florida-Cocoa State Evangelism and Home Missions Director, FL Cocoa State Administrative Bishop, and Regional Administrative Bishop of Southern New England.

Additionally, Bishop Scott has been a member of the C. O. G. International Chaplains Board, the C. O. G. World Missions Board, and the International Board of Black Ministries. Currently, he serves as the Director of the Black Ministries International Offices of C. O. G. which encompasses the United States of America and Canada. Among his priorities in the Kingdom of God are soul winning, pastoral leadership development, church planting, intentional impactful missions and transparency in the ministry. Bishop Scott is the author of " The Promises of The Kingdom” and has contributed to other authors, magazines and newspapers.

Rev. Linda Scott is one of the vessels God has raised up in this hour to speak to the spirit of the times and to speak wholeness to a hurting humanity. Her ministry encompasses preaching, teaching, administrating and counseling, under the sovereign guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Reverend Scott is married to the honorable Bishop Doyle P. Scott Sr., and they have three beautiful children, LaNekka, Doylesa, Doyle, Jr. and one grandchild. She has served in the Church of God as local Women’s Ministries President, FL- Cocoa State Women’s Ministries Evangelism Coordinator and FL- Cocoa State Women Ministries Director, Southern New England Regional Women’s Discipleship Director and currently serves as International Black Women’s Ministries Director.

Rev. Scott is extensively trained, and is certified through the Church of God Cleveland, TN with an Ordained Minister License, Girls Ministries Master Certificate, Ministerial Internship Program Certification and is a Certified Chaplain. Rev. Scott believes we are to “Expect the impossible, believe the invisible,” knowing that God’s plan for you shall come to pass if only you believe.
